About Cynthia
Hailing from Beijing, China, classical violinist Cynthia He has captivated audiences worldwide with her creative programming, bold interpretations, and artistic sensitivity. As a recitalist and chamber musician, she aims to reconnect the general public to the great music from past centuries.
Cynthia received her music training from EAMA – Nadia Boulanger Institute in Paris, France, as well as the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. She holds degrees in music from University of Rochester and Univeristy of Toronto. She has been studying with internationally renowned musicians, including Wilfredo Degláns, Emile Naoumoff, Ilya Kaler, and Jonathan Crow.
Outside of music, Cynthia is a pet parent to three guinea pigs, two degus, and one rabbit. She also enjoys playing board games, drawing, cooking, and visiting museums.
